Toon Blast is a fun puzzle game with unlimited levels in various difficulty ranges. As players move further into the game, they would encounter with very challenging levels that can be hardly won without extra power-ups. Therefore, it is crucial for players to unlock and acquire useful boosters early on in the game, and have them ready for harder puzzles. There are three general types of boosters/tools in Toon Blast and each type comes with more variants.

The first type is pre-level boosters. Namely, players obtain those boosters and have them ready before a new level starts. They can add those boosters in their in-game board. However, such boosters don’t come automatically at the beginning of the game. Usually players need to complete certain levels of puzzles to unlock new boosters. There are three specific boosters under this category: Rockets, Booms and Disco Balls. Rockets can randomly eliminate an entire row of objects either horizontally or vertically. Booms can trigger an explosion that clears 8 blocks range of objects. Disco Balls are the most powerful ones among all and they can remove all the blocks in the same color.

Meanwhile, there are also in-level boosters. Those ones are created by players during their puzzle solving process. By combining combos of blocks, players can earn extra boosters.  Those ones can be used separately, or they can be paired with other boosters to maximize the elimination power.

The third type of boosters are referred as “tools” in Toon Blast. Players obtain tools from opening chests with rewards. Those tools are ready in levels after they are discovered. Players can use those limited number of tools to fix a tricky situation when they’re close to the end of the puzzle. 

Of course, players can always buy extra boosters with real month at the store, or they can spend their in-game currency on those too.
