Tips on Pokéstop, Gym and Raid in Pokémon Go

Players of Pokémon Go often times would constantly interact with three in-game facilities whenever and wherever they’re on the go. There are numerous Pokéstops, gyms and raid battles waiting for explorers. Therefore, a few useful tips may help players get the most out of those interactions.

First, Pokéstops are situated in various locations on the in-game map. Players can spin the sign and collect useful items including Poké balls from those automatically regenerative stops. However, what most players have ignored is the auto claim function on the interface. Instead of collecting every single piece of items by screen tapping, players can touch the X sign at the bottom of the interface, and all the stuff will be taken without manual controls. Besides, most Pokéstops experience a rather short freezing time and those residing in the downtown area with busy flow of passengers usually regenerate items in a very brief period of time. Therefore, it might be a good idea to hang out around the facilities and return for more claims.

When it comes to gyms, there are a few things players should pay attention to. Firstly, players need to choose the location of their gym. It is usually a good idea to pick a gym with a reasonably stable amount of visitors and a good connection/location. It doesn’t necessarily need to be the busiest and popular downtown spot because gyms in those locations are hardly defendable. At the same time, players also want to avoid remote gyms with scarce traffic and visitors. Those gyms can generate very limited profits and are geographically undesirable. When seizing a gym in a good location, players should use powerful Pokémon to defend it for longer occupation, which secures the revenues (coins) from that gym.

Finally, when it comes to raid battles, it is important to pre-check the stats and power levels of the enemy Pokémon team. If the winning chances are slim, players should refrain themselves from participating in such battles.
